IT'S A BOY!!

Ryker Robert Koca was born on July 17, 2010 at 4:16am. He weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces and was 20 inches long. After 33 hours of labor, he arrived via c-section early Saturday morning. He has his Daddy's long eyelashes and olive skin. And, boy does the he have a full head of hair!! We are so thrilled at our perfect bundle of joy!!

Leaving for the hospital

Hello giant baby belly. This picture was taken about 10 minutes before we left for the hospital on Thursday, July 15th to begin the induction process to bring the baby into the world. At the doctor's appointment on Tuesday, my blood pressure was up and she was estimating a big baby, so, we scheduled the induction to start Thursday night.

Our last boating hurrahs

Before we take a break from the boat because the giant baby belly is likely to sink it or cause the baby is just too tiny, we had a couple of boat outings in a row. The last of which was Cassie's first attempt at tubing by herself (against the better judgement of several)...she LOVED it.
